We did, and we told the story “Once upon a time Barbabì...”
Aperto's door was crossed by Lucia, Barbabì's nephew, but she didn't know it yet, her reality didn't yet have a name when we met.
When he was telling us about the history of his magnificent farmhouse in the Cortona countryside, he was talking about how his grandfather had started it all.
His grandfather had an exceptional story, he built the farmhouse stone by stone, treated the land like his friend, giving it attention to get back authentic flavors, he welcomed the most needy to give them food and listening, he could only help us too.
It was clear that Lucia's new restaurant should glorify the person who started the story, her grandfather. This is why we decided to personify it within the coordinated image, illustrating it and giving it an appropriate and memorable nickname, Barbabì.
The story of Barbabì, thanks to his innate ability to be father and grandfather, has been handed down for 2 generations and this new chapter of his has just been opened.
